About The Author
Rob Dorgan has an MA in European History from the University of Cincinnati. He began writing fiction at the age of seven with his first short story, "Murder at the La Brea Tar Pits," followed by "Murder at the Art Museum." Since the second grade, his interests and content have changed, but his love of telling a good story has remained. While working on his doctorate, the trajectory of Dorgan's life path was drastically altered when he was introduced to the mystical arts of astrology and yoga. He left academia and, along with his partner, Steve Bolia, moved to Colorado to study and work with Linda Goodman, the author of Linda Goodman's Sun Signs, Love Signs, Star Signs, and Gooberz. He then mentored Alan Oken for many years as a master astrologer and teacher of Ancient Wisdom. Dorgan began studying yoga in the 1980s when most people in the West thought it was a cult. He studied with many yoga teachers, including Sianna Sherman, John Friend, and the preeminent Sally Kempton in meditation. Yoga, along with astrology, changed his life. Dorgan is a certified yoga educator, international retreat facilitator, meditation teacher/devotee, and a practicing astrologer. Visit www.awakeningthemystic.net for more information.
