Product Questions

Is everything you make natural?
Almost! We use the best natural ingredients we can source, including herbs, butters, clays, sea salts, and natural oils.

Are your products vegan?
Our line is about 90% vegan, with absolutely no animal testing. We also avoid palm oil unless it comes from a certified, regulated farm.

Are your products safe during pregnancy?
Most of our products are safe, but we recommend consulting your physician before use to ensure they align with your pregnancy plan.

Where do you source your materials?
Most ingredients come from trusted suppliers in the United States. We carefully vet partners to make sure their ethics align with ours.

Do your products contain nut oils?
Yes, some of our products include Argan Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, or Almond Oil. These typically do not irritate those with nut allergies, but please consult your doctor first.

What is the shelf life of your products?
Most products last about 12 months. Keep them out of direct sunlight and at room temperature to extend freshness. Natural preservatives like Leucidal (Radish Root Ferment) and Vitamin E help extend shelf life.

Candle Questions

What are your candles made of?
All candles are hand-poured with 100% natural soy wax and wood wicks, topped with crystals, herbs, or florals for spiritual intention.

How should I care for my candle?
Trim your wood wick to about 1/8" before each burn, let the wax melt evenly on the first burn to avoid tunneling, and never burn for more than 2 hours at a time. For more details, see our Candle Care & Safety guidelines.

Do your candles come with fragrance oils or essential oils?
We use a mix of premium fragrance oils and natural essential oils, always phthalate-free and safe for your space.

Ordering & Shipping

How soon can I expect my order?
Orders ship within 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). We primarily ship through USPS, and occasionally FedEx when needed.

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we do not offer international shipping, but we are working on expanding this for 2026.

Are your products made in the U.S.?
Yes — every candle and apothecary product is handmade in our studio in Covington, KY.

Discounts & Wholesale

Do you offer discount codes?
Yes! Discount codes apply only to Wicked Obscura–branded products, are one-time use, and cannot be combined with other offers.
